Partner Acrobatics
The line between acroyoga and partner acrobatics can be thin and blurry. Partner acrobatics has a rich history in the performing arts and as a sport, while acroyoga is a 21st century recreational activity. In partner acrobatics, we focus more on standing skills and handstands. As the skill level and the elevation of the flyer go up, the level of trust, communication, and spotting need to elevate accordingly.
Advanced Open Training - again in September!
Every Monday we organize an open guided partner acrobatics training for advanced acrobats!!
Advanced open trainings will again start in September!!!
Training structure:
15 min - warm up, 15 min - handstand drills
60 min - partially guided training (work at your own level)
30 min - free training
Training topics
Each training will have a specific topic, eg inlocate, icarian, base in ext. position, standing h2h (progressions, tempos, skills...) and more.
Prerequisites
Everyone: standing F2H squats, handstand against the wall - 1 min
Flyers: tuck up/straddle up to handstand with a spotter, cartwheel out of handstand
How many trainings should I sign up for?
Trainings are open, it's up to you how many trainings you sign up for. You can sign up for just one, or all of them ahead of time. To participate in the training, you must register at least 1 day in advance. It is best to sign up ahead of time so we know who is coming. The sooner we know who will attend, the better training we can prepare.
